The Foo Fighters have an interesting talent of relating to lots of people in their lyrics. We all have had that friend who thinks they know what is best for us while being ignorant to the fact that they haven't been through all we've been through and they don't experience our experiences the same way. Since we all experience things differently no one should bring the arrogance that makes people think they know what is best for us. This is what These Days is all about. You have lost a friend a someone is telling you that it's okay but they don't know what your friend has meant to you. All your friends should mean the world to you and it should never be okay. We never have to accept anyone's accounts of what life means and we should try to find out ourselves.

Every time I listen to the Foo Fighters I can relate to the lyrics so well. I think that's what makes a great band. It's great when a song shows you something you've never felt. When every band's songs just speak to you though it's amazing. It's almost as though the artists have lived with you your whole life. This is how the Foo Fighters make me feel. I get chills every time I hear their songs.

Foo Fighters can convey every emotion on the scale and that makes it such a great band to go home and listen to. No matter what I have felt on a certain day, I can go home and know there's a song that reaffirms my thoughts and makes me think about it. I hope everyone can find a band that does the same for them.
